In this hour of work x work ON AIR, radio pioneers East Village Radio present a live taping of Cheap Shots with hosts artist J. Penry and musician Jay Green. Bringing their trademark “unhealthy obsession for pop culture and bad jokes,” go on a hilarious exploration of music, the Young Pope, and, oddly, the merits and drawbacks of potato salad. The pair is joined by Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem & Juan Maclean, Nick Millhiser of Holy Ghost! and Jay’s cousin BIRD DAWG.
