ART TAlk:
hidden places of inspiration

For part two of the Art Talk series, artist and curator Kimia Ferdowsi Kline joins work x work creative director Scott Newman, artist Brad Kahlhamer and photographer Fred Cray. Listen as the group discusses diving beyond surface observations to absorb sense of place, real characters, and genuine emotions.

In addition to being the art curator at Wythe Hotel, Kimia Ferdowski Kline is a painter who holds an M.F.A. in visual arts from the San Francisco Art Institute. She is represented by Turn Gallery.

Scott Newman is an artist, publisher and the creative director of work x work, a storytelling and branding agency that celebrates cultural and artistic endeavors in NYC and beyond.

Brad Kahlamer is an award-winning multimedia artist working in sculpture, painting and performance. His work has been featured at world renowned museums like MoMA, Whitney and The Met. He is represented by Jack Shainman Gallery.

Fred Cray’s work has been described as "lush, gaudy and ethereal technicolor spirit photographs" by The New York Times. His multilayered images are more akin to abstract painting then to conventional photography.  He's a Guggenheim Fellow represented by Janet Borden Gallery.
